Benno's DJ resume begins at The Exchange (Gawler). His ability to keep a pub crowd entertained with a mixture of vocal, funky and commercial house saw his popularity grow. When a well known DJ/promoter played a guest spot at the Exchange, Benno impressed enough to be offered a residency at the infamous Rise Nightclub. This allowed Benno access to guaranteed large crowds and the opportunity to play with and learn off the biggest names in Adelaide. As time passed, so did Benno's ability to impress. Eventually playing a funky house set and a main room electro set to the masses each week.

Over his very short DJ career Benno has played at venues such as: Rise, The Exchange (Gawler), Kings Head, The Royal Hotel, Venus @ The Ark, The Pier and Cherry Bomb.
